First Try

HA! I said I'd make a blog, and I'm doing it. Lord, help me! My sis-in-law, Beck, told me this shouldn't be hard, but I've still put it off week after week... Last week, my excuse was, "Heat Rises." And since our a.c. unit was out, it was way too steamy up here to type anything. But, day by day, I realize there are so many things, big & little, important (and the not-so-important) things that I still want to share with you. Friends and family so far away, people that may have missed too much already for me to put this off a weekend more!!! For example, our Wedding, what a blissful day! (I'll try to post pics). We've been married for a little over three wonderful months (working our way to a quarter of a year!).
AND THEN... Baby Jack, our newest, beautiful, so perfect nephew! Congrats to Royce and Heather! Again, I'll post a pic as soon as I get this all figured out!
This weekend, Marcus and I had a date out for some Tex-Mex (our fav) and then to the Museum. They were having a dance under the dinosaurs. We didn't dance (it was really crowded), but had a beer and worked our way through a few exhibits before catching the IMEX show on the Mysteries of the Nile.
What a great weekend.
I'm glad I've set this up, so I can share with y'all what's going on with us. We've missed so much already... ie: the butcher who asked me if we were on Candid Camera." Right... If you've missed that story, ask me about it, I'll fill you in.
Oh, and as for things to look forward too. We recently found an article on "52 things to do in Houston"... of course, Marcus and I've done a few of them already, but now we've added some things to our "To-Do" list, and I'll try to remember our camera!
